Veterinary Radiologist (Diagnostic Imaging)
Location: Perth, Australia
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
About the Role
A newly founded, veterinarian owned, independent emergency and specialty hospital in Perth is appointing its founding radiologist. Radiology is one of Australia's most acute specialist shortages, and this is a chance to own the discipline in a growing market.
The Role
Lead diagnostic imaging across a modern suite.
Support the hospital's surgical, medicine and emergency services.
Set the imaging standards for a hospital built by vets, for vets.
The Package
As a guide, experienced board certified specialists in Australia currently earn AUD 220,000 to 280,000 plus per year, and the offer will reflect your experience and standing.
Full relocation and registration support for international candidates.
About You
Board certified in veterinary diagnostic imaging (ACVR or ECVDI).
Comfortable being the imaging authority in the building.
You must already hold an AVBC accredited veterinary qualification, or have completed the AVE, allowing immediate registration with the relevant Australian state veterinary board.
Why Perth
Sunshine, beaches and genuine outdoor living all year round.
A lower cost of living than Sydney or Melbourne.
Specialist demand in Western Australia comfortably outstrips supply.
Direct flights across Asia.
How to Apply
I handle every application personally and confidentially, and you will get the full picture of the hospital, the team and the caseload before anything is shared with the employer. Email your CV to bryce@brycedon.com. Not the right fit? If you know a colleague who might be, I would appreciate the introduction.
