Emergency Veterinarian (ER)
Location: Perth, Australia
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
About the Role
Join the founding clinical team of a newly founded, veterinarian owned, independent emergency and specialty hospital in Perth. Opportunities like this, an independent hospital built by vets rather than a corporate group, come along rarely, and the people who join now get to shape it.
The Role
Run a high acuity emergency caseload with specialist backup on site.
Work in a brand new, purpose built facility with modern equipment.
Have a genuine say in how the hospital and its ER service grow.
The Package
As a guide, experienced ER and ECC vets in Australia currently earn AUD 120,000 to 180,000 plus per year, and the package will reflect your experience.
Relocation support for international candidates.
Founding team standing as the hospital grows.
About You
An experienced emergency clinician, confident with high acuity cases.
Excited by the idea of building something rather than joining something finished.
You must already hold an AVBC accredited veterinary qualification, or have completed the AVE, allowing immediate registration with the relevant Australian state veterinary board.
Why Perth
Sunshine, beaches and genuine outdoor living all year round.
A lower cost of living than Sydney or Melbourne.
ER and specialist demand that comfortably outstrips local supply.
Direct flights across Asia.
How to Apply
I handle every application personally and confidentially, and you will get the full picture of the hospital, the team and the caseload before anything is shared with the employer. Email your CV to bryce@brycedon.com. Not the right fit? If you know a colleague who might be, I would appreciate the introduction.
